At the end of May we left Wellington for Sydney.  Here are photos taken from Rex's last rugby game in Wellington.  Where there are a mass of players we circled Rex so you can see where he is.

The team warms up for 30 mins before the game; here is coach "Turbo" with the forwards; and that is Neil's big butt!

Turbo tells them what to do in the lineouts ...

... Neil is sometimes used as a battering ram in practice -- hey, someone has to do it!

And now the game; Rex is a prop forward; his job is to be in the scrums

That's him on the left

He also gets into the rucks & mauls ...

... and plays a big part in the lineouts

At half time Turbo tells them what to improve; they were only leading by 29-0

Still half time & the boys show that it's thirsty work ...

... Turbo says "and fellas, go out there & beat them with your brains & your fitness" ...

... overall Rex had a great game ...

... being involved in a lot of the play

After the game we managed to get a team photo ...

... and a club jersey signed by every team player & congratulations from all

Rex takes it all in; the fulltime score was 67-0

<--- Rex with Ginny, the backs' coach & the team fitness coach; Rex is a forward so he is mainly coached by Turbo, but everyone is special for Ginny

When we arrived in Sydney we managed to find a place in a nice area called Mosman.  The great attractions of this area to us are 1) the schools, which have a good academic reputation [and the high school is the only non-uniform school in Sydney]; 2) it's close to the harbour, which is what makes Sydney special; and 3) Neil can start the daily office journey using ferry.  Our apt is a bit older than we'd like but it's nice & quiet with a good view.  We are just one cove away from Sydney's Taronga Zoo.

A closer view of the same; that wharf is the ferry entrance to Taronga Zoo

The view from our balcony looking south

To see this city view you have to peer around the side of the balcony; the Opera House is on the far right side

More moods of the harbour

Another special part of being in Sydney is that we can finally spend family time with Grandpa - Neil's Dad

Grandpa with Neil Roger & Rex; warning -- this photo has an ugly retouch to get rid of the flash in the mirror
